Valerie Sebestyen Photography - whether it's of humans, animals, or nature - is centered on connection. A photograph not only emits an ebb and flow of emotions, it contains a memory and bond between living and non-living things. Valerie’s passion for photography bloomed from her passion for horses, and when her father introduced her to a camera in middle school, her life was never the same. Constantly going to book stores and studying techniques and angles, Valerie devoted every ounce of free time to her thirst for photography. In high school Valerie got her first DSLR and opened a small photography business, shooting at horse shows, t-ball games, and doing portrait sessions. As the years progressed, so did her passion and she upgraded her equipment to enter the competitive world of photography at the professionals level. 

Valerie is majoring in Photography and believes it is a constant learning process. The key to making a superb photograph is making the subject comfortable, communicating, and of course her natural eye for a unique or mesmerizing shot.
